In Years 1 and 2, pupils follow the National Curriculum for England, thoughtfully adapted to meet the needs of our diverse school community and aligned with the expectations of the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE). Learning experiences are carefully planned to be engaging, purposeful and meaningful, providing opportunities for creativity, collaboration, real-life connections and practical skill development.
Across the curriculum, we place a strong emphasis on communication, problem-solving and critical thinking, ensuring that children not only acquire essential knowledge but also develop the skills and confidence to become independent learners.
Our aim is to nurture well-rounded learners who are reflective, responsible and imaginative, enabling them to transition confidently into Key Stage 2.

Learning in Key Stage 2 is enriched through a variety of experiences beyond the classroom. A range of co-curricular opportunities, including sports, debate, robotics and theme-based projects, enables pupils to explore their interests, develop confidence and strengthen collaboration skills. Educational visits, field trips, environmental initiatives and inter-school competitions further enhance learning, encouraging resilience, positive participation and healthy competition.
In the Primary phase, we place equal importance on pupils’ academic achievement and their physical, emotional, social and moral development. Teaching is designed to promote active learning through investigation, exploration and practical application. This approach supports independence, teamwork, communication and a strong sense of responsibility, helping pupils grow into confident, reflective and globally aware learners.
